Mr. Nepal has work experience of more than 36 years (national 23 and international 13) and is former Assistant Auditor General. He also served in UN Mission in Kosovo, Preparatory Commission for the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO, Vienna, Austria and Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW : the recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize in 2013), The Hague, Netherlands. He attended training, seminar, workshop and conferences held in different countries including US, Canada, India, Japan, and Uruguay. Mr. Nepal received Elmer B. Staats Award for the best article published in the International Journal of Government Auditing. He also received first prize in All Nepal Essay Competition by Nepal Academy of Science and Technology in 1993. He has authored five books including one co-authored and also has large number of articles published in professional journals, magazines and newspapers from Nepal, India, Pakistan and USA. He has competencies in auditing, knowledge management, monitoring and evaluation and training management.
